Almandine Garnets on Matrix from Austria

Two intergrown Almandine Garnet crystals on matrix, and the big crystal is enormous! It measures 6cm wide. As with almost all of the almandines from Tyrol the faces have been buffed. 

The specimen comes with a custom display base.
