Wow! What an amazing and unusual Amazonite specimen this is! This specimen was filmed during the Weather Channel's TV show "Prospectors" in 2015. The color you see is true - it really is that hyper-saturated blue-green. This is the absolute top color for Amazonite specimens, and the aesthetics are really incredible. The stepped, upward progression with the little smoky quartz crystal perfectly placed on the site is unique, and we've never seen one quite like it.
As with almost all Amazonite specimens this one has been repaired in 2 places. This is considered normal for these specimens due to the way they form on the ceiling of pockets and then eventually collapse breaking them into several segments.
The specimen comes with a labeled acrylic display base. It stands up on its own, but we've put a little bit of tack on the bottom to be safe in case it gets bumped.
