From: Lost Lake Claim, Nacimiento Mine, Sandoval County, New Mexico, USASize: 76 x 120 x 55mmWeight: 370g Here is a very pretty and unusual find from which specimens are becoming harder to come by as no new material has come from the mine in many years. The base matrix rock is sandstone with botryoidal azurite concretions. On top of the concretions is a layer of blue azurite, and on that is a partial layer of green malachite. The result is something really fascinating. The specimen is in perfect condition with no damage or repairs. The botryoidal balls are up to 2cm in size.
