Beryl var. Emerald w/ Calcite from Colombia

This is a gem-quality Emerald specimen from Colombia, and at first glance it looks like a single emerald crystal is penetrating the calcite going all the way through, but it is actually 2 separate crytals that just happen to be almost perfectly aligned. The top crystals is around 9mm in diameter while the bottom one is around 7mm in diameter. Both are transparent and gem-quality. 

The specimen comes with a custom display base.
