Here is a blue Sapphire crystal measuring 2.8cm long and 2.0cm in diameter attached it it's native granite matrix. There is a smaller sapphire crystal under the large one which is visible in the closeup images, and there is alsoa small amount of it on the bottom-left side of the specimen. The sapphire is very nicely terminated, and in person you can see the triangular crystal growth patterns on it. For whatever reason it is hard to see that in the photos.
This specimen comes with a labeled display base.
