Cotton candy, anyone? Here is a superb example of "poker chip" manganocalcite on calcite from China. The main crystal is a huge calcite crystal that has scalloped manganocalcite growing on the front and sides. There are some additional white calcite crystals shooting out from a few places too. The manganocalcite appears to be in perfect condition with no damage or broken crystals that we can see. The main calcite crystal also appers to be in good condition with only what appears to be a contact point on the front-right side where some additional calcite was growing and was once in contact with something else. The manganocalcite also glows a bright peach/pink color under longwave UV.
The specimen comes with a custom acrylic display base.
