Etched Floater Fluorite from Italy

I wish you could see this specimen in person because it's so much more interesting and difficult to capture in a 2D photograph. What we have here is an etched fluorite from Italy which also appears to be a complete floater since we cannot find any contact point. It's easier to make out the original cubic shape of the crystal in person, but you can tell that this was once a large cube witha purple core and clear outer zone. As it started to dissolve and even recrystallize in some areas the cubic shape began to be less prominent, but you can see it. In person this really looks like a melting ice cube. 

The specimen comes with a custom display base.
