Fibrous Tourmaline from Curzeiro Mine

Here is a very unusual and old tourmaline from the Cruzeiro Mine in Brazil. The specimen is actually a complete floater with a regular termination on one side and the other side is a densly fibrous form with crystals so thin they look like tiny hairs. The tourmaline is a dark green color which appears almost black on the terminated end.

The specimen comes with a custom display base.
