Fluorite & Pyrite on Rhodochrosite from Peru

This is one of those specimens that is so much more impressive in person than in a photo. This comes from a small find from a few years ago in Peru, and there are frosty lavendar-colored fluorite crystals growing on a pastel-pink rhodochrosite matrix. Embedded in the rhodochrosite (especially on the back an bottom) are small, shiny pyrite cubes. These specimens are very rare and this is one of the better ones that we've seen! 

This specimen comes with a custom display base.
