Fluorite on Gypsum from Mexico

This is one of the best fluorites from Mexico that we've seen in a while, and it's rather unusual. The white matrix material you see is actually gypsum. The gypsum forms various crystal shaped all over the specimen, and on the backside there are hundreds of small gypsum crystals in a conglormerate. On top of the gypsum is the purple fluorite. The purple fluorite is transparent and has darker purple on the outer edges. 

The specimen comes with a custom display base.
