Fluorite on Quartz from Xiefang Mine in China

WOWWW!!! This is without a doubt one of the most impressive Chinese mineral specimens we have ever had. This is from a small and rare find back in 2021, and we've never seen anything quite like it, especially at this scale. The snow-white Quartz matrix has 5 large fluorite cubes resting on it. The largest cube is a whopping 5.2cm wide! Size is one thing, but what makes this so special is the color. The cubes are a deep-green color, but they have an unusual purple edge coloring which is really the identifying feature of the specimens from this find. In addition to the giant fluorite cubes the quartz matrix is also completely covered in paler fluorite cubes of the same variety. Some of these smaller cubes are up to 1.7cm in size.

This is a really special specimen, and the condition is excellent with no damage other than the back side and edges where it was trimmed.
