This is a giant sulphur specimen from Italy! The matrix is aragonite, and the front face is completely covered in yellow suplhur crystals. Most of the crystals are in the 2-3cm size range. There are some trace amounts of bitument which give the aragonite a dark color and creates nice contrast with the yellow sulphur. Condition is very good, especially for a specimen of this size and weight. Just a few crystals have some minor dings, but overall it is very clean.
The specimen actually stands upright all on its own without supports or a base.
