Goethite on Smoky Quartz & Microcline

This specimen looks so much better in person! It's difficult to photograph these because of the high contrast between the dark goethite and the bright, pinkish, microcline, but in person the goethite is dark black and the smoky quartz is translucent. The camera lighting doesn't really convey that. The aesthetics are great, and the specimen comes on a labeled acrylic display base.
