Hot-Pink Aragonite from Switzerland

Here is a one-off rarity from Switzerland. This is a hot-pink aragonite from Chandoline, possibly near the coal mine there as the dark matrix material looks like either coal or schist of some sort. This is the only reddish-pink aragonite specimen from this locality that we have ever heard of, so it really is a unique find! The color is a very hot-pink, almost red. At first glance it might appear that the tips are broken off, but they are not. It seems as this was growing the tips suddenly became white, and you can see multiple crystalized terminations on each tip, so there is no damage.
