Large Calcite Plate from Yongkang, China

This is a super-impressive, museum-quality calcite specimen from a very rare location of YongKang, China. This large plate contains dozens if not hundreds of columnar calcite crystals. It looks like a treasure chest of coins! Each calcite crystal has frosted terminations and relatively clear sides allowing you to see into the crystal. Many have inclusions of the darker material giving them a very interested 3D appearance. The condition is very good with no significant damage, just some minor edge chipping here and there, but most crystals are in perfect condition. This is a very special, and uinque specimen!
