Quartz w/ Epidote Inclusions

This glass-clear quartz crystal has some interesting green epidote crystals in it causing a fan-shaped inclusion. The quartz is actually double-terminated, but the bottom termination which is hidden inside the base is not complete. Like other areas on the crystal there is a former contact point which has re-crystallized. There are at least 2 other contact areas with similar re-crystalization on the back side. The top termination is complete, sharp, and undamaged. 

The specimen comes with a custom display base.
