A very pretty combo of red rhodonite with black pyrolusite on a tan matrix. The Rhodonites from Conselheiro Lafaiete are considered the best in the world, but unfortunetely, production has been shut down due to environmental concerns and how the town has grown completely around the mine. No more of these specimens are coming out, so they are becoming harder and harder to find. 

This specimen comes with a custom display base.
