Amethyst "Nest" from Namibia

The Goboboseb Mountains are known for their incredible amethyst specimens, and some of the best are the "nest" specimens where the crystals are laying in a nest-like cavity or vug. With this example we have one large amethyst crystal surrounded by 3 smaller ones at the base, and it really displays nicely. There are actually numerous hematite-included quartz crystals embedded in the wall of the nest. The amethyst crystals are in excellent condition with perfect terminations.
